Maintenance Manager

Description:

This position directly reports to the first and second shift Maintenance Supervisors, Parts Person, Scheduler/Planner, and office support. The maintenance department consists of approximately 10-12 technicians on first shift, 8-10 technicians on 2nd shift, and 4 technicians on 3rd shift. Qualified candidates for this position must have Maintenance Manager experience (minimum 3 years) and/or strong maintenance supervisory experience. Experience and background within the meat industry preferred. Base salary range is $80,000-$90,000 and position is bonus eligible.

Maintenance Supervisor

This position oversees 2nd and 3rd shifts and approximately 10-15 maintenance technicians. The hiring company is looking for someone who has experience as or is a maintenance supervisor (perferably within the meat industry, RTE, or processing). Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience required. Base salary range is $57,500-$62,500 and position is bonus eligible.

Food Safety Specialist

Description:

This position is responsible for the development, administration, training, and monitoring of all aspects of quality and food safety within the organization. Provide and interface for state and local regulatory agencies in regards to food safety concerns. Oversee regulations and implement same on all monitoring systems and evaluate it on regular basis to ensure compliance with law. Conduct workplace safety evaluations and identify areas of improvement and provide effective solutions.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Animal Science, Microbiology, or a related discipline OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience is preferred.

One to three years supervisory experience, HACCP certification, knowledge of USDA regulations and Quality Control programs.

Maintenance Electrical and Instrumentation Technician

Description:

This position is responsible for the efficient, safe and reliable operating condition of complex process and high-speed food processing equipment. The Maintenance E&I Technician must be multi-crafted (mechanical/electrical) and mainly focused on providing equipment troubleshooting and breakdown maintenance. As troubleshooting requirements are accomplished, the Maintenance E&I Technician will change focus toward preventive maintenance activities as assigned by the day based System Maintenance Technician thru planned work orders. They must systematically repair, adjust and maintain processing, filling, conveying, and packaging machinery as assigned using established maintenance reliability practices, consistent observation, repair, and follow-up of operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, test, modify, and program automated, electromechanical equipment
  • Apply engineering principals with mechanical and electrical knowledge to eliminate production problems and improve efficiency and reliability
  • Develop, track, and communicate maintenance specific metrics to identify reduce and eliminate recurring issues on equipment and improve system reliability
  • Apply predictive maintenance technologies and condition based monitoring to equipment(oil analysis, vibration analysis, motor circuit analysis)
  • Participation in continuous improvement activities (Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen)
  • Perform Root Cause Failure Analysis on major unplanned breakdowns and recurring problems
  • Develop and implement Preventive Maintenance Procedures for each equipment item
  • Maintain equipment and assembly drawings and schematics, document maintenance activities, and maintain historic records
  • Design, implementation and completion of reliability and cost reduction projects on equipment
  • Provide design input and maintenance support to engineering on major project concept, implementation, commission, validation and start-up
  • Be the system expert and a resource for knowledge in operation, controls, set-up, complex maintenance procedures
  • Provide equipment specific training to shift maintenance and operations associates to assure compliance with assembly, operating and safety procedures.
  • Procure and maintain replacement parts inventory for assigned equipment
  • Rebuild and restock spare parts assemblies for equipment or systems
  • Manage personal work schedule and planned work orders to maintain system reliability and optimize run time.
  • This position and all site associates are responsible for quality and food safety.

Reliability Engineer

Description:

This position utilizes sound people management, technical problem solving and project management skills to preserve and maintain the factory’s infrastructure, utilities and equipment. It requires adherence to global maintenance best practices, including continuous improvement and total productive maintenance (TPM). This role manages the CAB process, site master plan, the planning and scheduling functions, KPI information gathering and publishing while serving as the primary back up/successor to the Reliability Manager. This position also actively participates and contributes to the success of area continuous improvement teams, factory operating system and underpins the site security, safety, and environmental programs.
